To LSgt Dave Greenhalgh (My nephew)

Julie Prince

No hopeless end but an endless hope. I look forward to seeing you again. Freedom is expensive carved from the hardest stone, from hearts and minds and bodies, with blood and muscle and bone. Freedom is precious, not held in just any hand. A soldier in a foreign land, goes where we dare not stand. He goes out to the enemy, and there he holds the ground, with deadly brutal force, a gun and our freedom in his hands.
